Photo Gallery of Tom Swift and His Airship Radio Show June 14
The UCSD Arts Library is holding a Centennial exhibit of Tom Swift from June 1-July 31, 2010. As part of this exhibit, there will be two radio show programs held at the UCSD Geisel Library.
The first radio show performance was Tom Swift and His Airship and was held at noon on Monday, June 14, 2010 in front of an audience of about 45 people.
The fine actors of Write Out Loud (Kevin Koppman-Gue, Veronica Murphy, and John Ritter) along with the Arts Library's own Scott Paulson performed all the voices while Scott provided music and old-school sound effects.
A Photo Gallery shows the performance, some of the exhibition, and the food and drinks provided for the event.
The next performance will be on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 4pm. It will be a performance of Tom Swift and the Visitor from Planet X. It is free and open to the public. (Parking permits are available at machines or visitor's centers throughout the campus).
The Tom Swift and His Airship show will encore at the Tom Swift 100 Convention at the Sheraton Mission Valley on Saturday, July 17. Doors open at 7:30pm. A small donation would be appreciated at this event.
